3. Double motors drive the spindle respectively
At high speed, the spindle is directly driven by the belt to rotate; At low speed, another motor drives the spindle to rotate through the gear drive, and the gear takes off and lands speed and expands the transmission range. In this way, the constant power area is increased, and the defects of insufficient torque and insufficient utilization of motor power at low speed are overcome.
4. Motor and spindle integrated transmission
This type of spindle is usually called the electric spindle, the motor itself is the spindle. This main transmission mode greatly simplifies the structure of the spindle box and the spindle, and improves the stiffness of the spindle components, but the spindle output torque is small, and the motor heating has a greater impact on the spindle. Many spindles of CNC grinding machines are in this way, and the speed can reach tens of thousands of revolutions per minute. Generally, this kind of spindle motor is cooled by circulating water cooling system.
